21. 5. 2010 - Haute Cuisine at JB (and afterparty) in Ljubljana




There are many good chefs, but only a few are really great. Janez Bratovž is one of them.
 
The perfection of his food is in the sweet harmony of the tastes, the highest quality of ingridients and the excellent techniques of preparation. He is a perfectionist, a sensible creator who invents new dishes being inspired as same by the past and traditions as the new trends in the haute cuisine.

It's a big pleasure and honour to invite you in the evening of Friday, the 21st May, to an unforgettable dinner at his JB restaurant where we will be able to enjoy a small selection of his best plates.

Fresh tuna with japanese pepper and furikake on the avocado salad 
Charodnnay 2008 - Sutor  


Scalop on the braised sweet cabbage with butter foam 
Malvazija 2008 - Brandulin  


Risotto with fennel, duck and candied aubergines 
Sauvignon 2006 - Brandulin  


Basil and mint sorbetto with ginger air  


Ravioli with pistachio, shitaki mushrooms and fois gras 
Pinot Noir 2007 - Sutor  


Bovine tail on topinambur cream with mediteranean vegetables and candied aubergines  
Rdeče 2005 - Brandulin  


Coco cream with candied south fruits, icecream and white chocolate foam



Wine for the dinner will be offered by two great slovene winehouses: Sutor (http://www.sutor.si/) and Brandulin.


After the dinner there will be afterparty with live music just a walk away from the restaurant. No entrance fee, everyone pays only what she/he drinks.

SUBJECT OF PAYMENT:
In the case you attend only one meeting write please the day of the meeting.
For Saturday complete day write Saturday C, for Saturday only dinner write Saturday D.
In the case you are attending more then one meeting write all the days you are paying - For example Friday + Saturday C or Friday + Saturday D.

PAYMENT DEADLINE: Your payment must be on the account before the 19th May so for payments from abroad you must do the money transfer before the 16th May. Since the places might be limited we suggest you to do the payment asp.
CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations before the 19th May we return 90% of payment, after that day no money will be returned.
